Art Therapy

The villa clients have enjoyed taking part in art therapy with Nikki, funded by the local Aghalee Village Hall. We made positive affirmation books, and framed artwork which we produced ourselves, using different shapes, lines, pens, chalks, pastels, charcoal to help express how we are feeling.
?National Pizza Day ?

Today is National Pizza Day. The Villa Group at the Centre enjoyed making soda bread pizza’s with our favourite toppings; ham, cheese, pineapple, pepperoni, tomatoes. We also had great fun drawing pizzas that we coloured in.
?Valentines Activities 2023?

Clients at the Centre have been busy taking part in different Valentines activities including: Making Valentines Cards Valentines Crafts – what we like about each other Valentines Bingo Listening to music
Art therapy

During art therapy with Nikki ( funded by Aghalee Village Hall) clients enjoyed learning about chakra’s and made a chakra bracelet with crystals and lava beads.
Arctic Project

For our Arctic Project we made cloud foam dough. We used cornflour and shaving foam. We put the dough into the freezer for a few hours. It was freezing cold when we took it out! We used it as icebergs for the Arctic animal figures. It was really fun.
?Music With Hannah?

Clients have been really enjoying music groups with Hannah, which have been funded by our local Aghalee Village Hall. So far we have enjoyed singing, listening to the guitar, playing percussion instruments, movement to music, hello/goodbye songs, and each group are having fun composing our own songs.
??Chinese New Year ? ?

We have all enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year, this year 2023 is the Year of the rabbit which was celebrated on 22nd January. The clients at the Centre have enjoyed creating their own sensory stories, making props and recording these stories. All clients that took part received a certificate.
