National pet Month ran from 1st April – 1st May this year and to celebrate this the Blackstone group learnt a lot about pet care. ??RSPB??
On Thursday 20th April we had Eleanor From RSPB in giving us a talk/presentation about birds. We got the opportunity to listen to the different sounds birds make, and made bird feeders. Everybody that attended the presentation thoroughly enjoyed it.

Gardening
Clients at the Centre have been working hard planting seeds for our crop this year. We have also been tiding and getting our vegetable garden ready.

Today we said goodbye to our 2 friends David & Leanne who both have decided to try out new things. Both clients have attended Centre for approximately 30 years, and have enjoyed taking part in many different activities over the years. We wish you both well in the future.
Training
Clients at the Centre have been updating/refreshing our knowledge and skills on Fire Safety & Keeping Safe. Clients all received a certificate for taking part in these training courses.
Dinosaur Project
During the month of February, the Blackstone worked on a Dinosaur project. We made dino fossils from salt dough and pasta/sand. We painted dinosaurs for our display board.
