On Tuesday 13th February we enjoyed learning about Pancake day (Shrove Tuesday). We completed worksheets on this and then we went to the Kitchen and made are very own pancakes with our favourite toppings.
Clients in the Blackstone enjoyed learning the history about chopsticks. We watched a clip on YouTube on how to use them, then we all had a go ourselves trying to lift different items from around the room. It was great fun, but a lot harder than what we thought.
Clients created a blank grid using our laptop to create their own wordsearch for national wordsearch day in January, once they had their grids everyone chose a theme and wrote a list of associated words that were then transferred to their blank grid. We created a backdrop for when we play bowling and boccia. We used a piece of cardboard and painted a bowling alley scene. Each of us then decorated a bowling pin which was then added to the carboard. It’s now like playing at a bowling alley and we use this as a

On Wednesday 20th December we had a lovely visit from Santa & Mrs Claus from Marty Lights in Aghalee.
Tuesday 19th December clients enjoyed singing and dancing along to Tom the Music Man.

The Craft Barn pop up shop was a great success last Thursday 3oth November 2023 at the Centre. Both the Choir and Makaton Choir provided some entertainment, which went down a treat. We raised a massive £743.40. Thank You to all those that attended the event.
During planning the Villa key group clients chose to do a country music project. We used the iPad to look up our favourite country singers and lyrics to our favourite songs; Achy breaky heart, The Dance, Its Friday, Rhinestone Cowboy. We used old fabric to make our own country themed clothes and
