On 3/2/2021 we took part in Tai Chi which is an ancient Chinese tradition, practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Ryan from DSNI lead us through some moves that focus on nature and animals; ‘pushing the waves’, ‘the bird’, finishing with the strength and respect move.
We all thoroughly enjoyed this relaxation form of exercise, made even better as we where able to do it with a group of clients from The Beeches Nursing Home, & Amanda joined in from the comfort of home – via the app Zoom.
