On Thursday 16th and 23rd August 2018 Pat McCauley from NI Water gave 2 groups a talk on water. He showed us a video on the importance of saving water, which included these useful tips : always use a plug in the sink to stop water getting wasted, always have a full load of washing, only shower for 5 minutes, leave a bucket outside to collect rain water which then can be used to water plants. He also informed us that there should only be the 3 P’s put in the toilet as anything else can block it. The 3 P’s are: pee, poo and paper.
Pat gave out 5 minute timers for the shower, water bottles and left 2 water butt’s to be used at the Centre to collect rain water to use in our garden.
