The Villa Group enjoyed doing a project on Autumn, we learnt facts, did wordsearches, follow directions and draw activities and fingerprint art. For recycling week we saved our bottles and lids to make piggy banks. We really enjoyed doing this activity as group.
On 13/9/22 a small group of clients enjoyed making their way up to Aghalee Village Hall to take part in arts and crafts. Naomi showed us how to make Cactus plants using stones, paints, pebbles and decorative items.
On 8/9/22 a group of clients went up to the local Aghalee Village Hall and took part in a clay art and craft session with Nikki funded by the hall. We all enjoyed the session, and had great fun making our wall decorations. Look at our fab pics below:
On 6th September clients celebrated ‘National Read a Book Day’, this is an awareness day that encourages all of us to get reading. Clients at the Centre have been keeping busy helping to grow pumpkins and tomatoes. We have been looking after them and watering them regularly, and have had a good crop this year. The best part is we get to take them some of them home when they are ready-the tomatoes where delicious!!
