Throughout the week clients have really enjoyed planting seeds. We filled up pots/trays with compost and then added a mixture of seeds to them. The pots where then put in our greenhouse where we will water them daily and watch them grow.
Today some clients enjoyed making fifteen buns. We discussed the ingredients we needed for these and then the steps to get them from separate ingredients to tasty treats. Look at our pictures to see the fabulous looking buns.
Nikki ( Empathy Creations) has been providing art therapy for clients at the Centre which was funded by Aghalee Village Hall, over the past 2 weeks we have been making earrings out of wire; keyrings and wall decorations from clay, listening to music and drawing what we feel only using one line

We enjoyed listening to Jungle Book, Black Beauty and Harry Potter & the Philosopher’s Stone audio books. We then wrote up our book reviews on these including our favourite characters and rating the
Clients at the Centre enjoyed making pancakes today and putting our favourite toppings on them. We all agreed the pancakes where very tasty as you can see in our pictures below:
Clients had great fun using mirrors to draw self portraits of themselves in the Blackstone. When the portraits where complete they wrote 5 things they love about themselves. Have a look at our pictures:
On Tuesday 15th February 2022 some clients took part in a bead making workshop run By Nikki Terlik ( Empathy Creations) which was funded by Aghalee Village hall. Look at our pictures below to see the great necklaces we made.
Over the past week all clients attending the Centre have made a Valentine’s card to give to that someone special. These cards where all hand made with love, using hearts that we had great fun painting. Have a look at our lovely cards:
We all enjoyed learning about plants. We discussed and learnt: how plants grow what you need to grow plants different parts of plant We also had fun colouring in different pictures of plants as you can see in the pictures below.
