We have been asked to circulate the letter copied below to all our families using our service. The letter is from Suzanne Collins at The Patient and Client Council and her contact detail are also included.
You will be aware via the regional meeting on 15th July, that The Department of Health has tasked the PHA with reviewing current provision of LD Day Care, Short Breaks and HSC Transport in light of Covid-19. The PHA have partnered with ourselves at the Patient and Client Council to carry out an initial scope of feedback from families with loved ones who use LD day services, short breaks and HSC Transport, regarding the PHA Framework on Infection Prevention and Control measures in setting. This will be by way of the link below to a scoping questionnaire, as well as by a series of virtual meetings during August in setting up an Engagement Platform. This will focus on those service users who live at home with their families.
We are using our membership and contact list to reach out to interested families and groups, and we are working to a quick timeframe to gather the information and establish the Engagement Platform . Can I ask that you share this link to the scoping questionnaire and the attached information flier with details of the planned engagement as widely as possible through to your family carers via your services, and Trust Carer Services links, as soon as possible.
I want to thank you in advance for your help with this, and if you have any queries on the details above, please contact me directly.
