We’re all glad to be back from our break over Christmas and have been completing some pieces of art work. The pieces of art work is known as derivative painting. This is when you copy an image from a photograph or another piece of artwork. We used photographs from a winter images
The Blackstone key group enjoyed doing art collages. We chose an animal that we liked and decided what colours we wanted to do them. We carefully tore up small bits of paper/card to use for the collages and used PVA glue to stick them down. Here are our final works of art:

We’ve been having lots of fun in the run up to Christmas, with making Christmas decorations for our online craft fayre and taking orders, making our own photobooth props, taking some socially distanced selfies, personalised Christmas cards and baubles with our favourite musicians. The Blackstone key group have been very busy upcycling an old pallet to make a snowman. We drew on our snowman design and painted it, then added a hat and scarf for the finishing touches. We also sanded and painted and old wooden tree that was at the Centre. We used mirror
